I'm looking at possibly buying a 2008 non-CPO E90. It already has has the Dinan Exhaust/chip. I can't seem to find any confirmation that the dinan warranty transfers with car ownership change. I know that you can't resell the Dinan parts and keep the warranty. Any one know how that works?

So the follow up question is: If the Dinan warranty is still active any major concerns i should be aware of in purchasing a non-CPO with 3 years left on the BMW & Dinan warranty?

The first thing I'd do is contact Dinan w/ the VIN of the car in question. They'll be able to answer any and ALL questions about the warranty and when the Dinan sw was installed.

FYI, in case you didn't know this already ..... I'm sure it's due to the fact that the car in question is Dinan equipped that the dealer is unable to sell it as a CPO.
