CD Info Display

Hi, I have the BMW Professional audio system on my car but I don't know how to get the Track Title and other misc info to show up on the display. I've seen pictures of fellow E90post people and their show up. How can I do this? My CDs only display Track 1, Track 2... etc

Edit: I don't have the Premium sound package or watever it is called if it matters.

you have to burn CD's with CD Text option. In iTunes the option is called "Include CD Text".

Most of the store-purchased CD's do not include CD text, but song names show up on a computer, because software (iTunes/Windows Media Player/Blah) queries CDDB via internet and then shows you song names. Obviously that does not work in a car, so CD Text is what you need to enable when you burn your CD's.

Side note: Even if you have a CD with CD Text, it will not show up in iTunes. Not sure about any other software

In iTunes 8:
1. Create a playlist (iTunes only burns playlists)
2. Select this playlist and hit "Burn Disc"
Window with burn options will pop up. You will see the option there.
