Attention Coilover Owners - H&R / KW - Where did you order?

I'm in the market for some coilovers for my 335xi now and was wondering where those who have some bought them from and also their opinions on the set-up.

I leaning towards the H&Rs to be honest, I dont track my car and therefore have no need for the added benefits that the KWs offer. On my previous car i ran PSS9s and they were great, but also have too many things that I really dont need.

THANKS!
-BRIAN

I went with the KWv3's from **********s.com. The ride is definitely stiffer, and sucks driving on crappy roads, but on most roads the stiffness is perfectly acceptable.

Have H&R's an love them. I had PSS9's on my last car as well, the stiffness is pretty similar to them on about the 6th or 7th setting. Ordered mine from turner motorsports, great place.

I have the V3s and love them. I have not yet had the squeaking problem that some speak of, so who knows if that is a given on every set or not. Obviously the H&R design is different, and the settings are not as adjustable as the V3's. That is why they are cheaper. Both are good I suppose, but if I were you I would definitely get the KW V3s. Most vendors can get them to you for $1700 or so

H&R coilovers

I ordered mine from Turner Motorsports. They are very helpful and knowledgable. The H&R coilover have been great and there are no issues with the ride quality!

how is that debateable if KW has been involved in bmw suspension way longer than H&R, and have more features than the H&Rs, like dampening etc?

lol

how often do you guys utilize the "features" that you speak of?

unless you are tracking the car where certain tracks require certain rebound and dampening settings, I really don't think that the everyday driver will utilize all the features of the kw system

but I digress, the KW systems are rust free I am told compared to the H&R system. perhaps someone can correct me on that.

Please think before you respond. He was comparing the V1's to the H&R's, neither of which have adjustable shocks so the more features thing your talking about doesn't make sense. He was also comparing the over all reputation of the H&R name to the KW name, which is what I was talking about. That is very debatable.

I have heard the same, where some H&R systems become rusted. From what I understand it depends on which model you have, ie street vs premium etc. Also what year they were made.

At the same time I've hear a lot of people complaining about the KW's creaking.

My KW V1 should be arriving in 2 weeks.

I'm not too keen on companies that charge you money for the privilege to buy from them...
