I'm not saying he did, and not saying he didn't.

But it does seem weird that with all the people here who have access to centernet, none of them have been able to get pricing yet... except for this dealer?

You guys have to pay peanuts for your cars...

In germany for $ 35,605 invoice you get an e90 325i without any options!

Maybe so, Rich? Can you verify the prices posted (I thought I remembered you had a "source" too?)?

If I apply the same percentage discount used on the 2006 E90 and 2007 E92, I get $32760 +/- $5 for the E90 335i for ED invoice. Maybe BMW USA got wise to our ED group buy threads and decide they wanted a bigger cut?

Anything's possible.
But my contact is the same as anyone else's....he
simply has access to CenterNet. But if the prices
aren't there in PDF format, then you have to maybe
call the E.D. dept. directly?

Assuming the starting point for the E90 335i is correct at 38,700 MSRP/Retail, then the wholesale prices (US delivery and ED) appear to be about $200 too high. I calculated the US Wholesale price (invoice) using the same margin we see between invoice and list for the 330i, which is 8.5% margin (NOT markup!). Wholesale ED price for the 330i is about 15% less than MSRP retail, so I held the same ratio for 335i below. Retail ED price is always 7% less than MSRP.

Guys, there no mystery to these prices -- just use historical and known ratios that is public information. Of course these prices may be off a several hundred dollars, as this assumes similar ratios of 330i. Also note that the dealers make more margin % and $ on options than base car price.

E90 330i '07______Wholesale__Retail_____Margin%
ED Program_______$32,895___$35,991___8.6%
US Delivery_______$35,406___$38,700___8.5%

Given that no one else but you has been able to come up with them, I think its a safe bet he just did some rough calculations to arrive at the prices he gave you. I don't think what he told you is in any way official. IMHO.

I thought the margins on E.D. cars were lower than regular cars?

Well that explains how the dealership figured out that I was a noob way
back in 2000 when I bought my first BMW....

another person is reporting the invoice price as well.

ED Invoice
328i sedan $27,720
328xi sedan $29,350
335i sedan $33,110

this does not include the $695 destination charge

most of the option invoice prices stay the same, some of the packages have changed. The option invoice pricing on what I got is as follows.
Xennon $730
Metallic Paint $430
Sport $1090(this is on the 328 xi, it is different on other models)
CA $455
Fold down seats $430
Assist/bluetooth $685

I hope this helps. These are correct prices as I put my order in today and saw the wholesale price sheets off of CNET.

Thanks madhatter, just saw that on "that other forum". Sorry I doubted you. I guess they cut dealer margin on the sedan. Kind of a bummer.

I wonder if insurance costs caused more of an increase in the 335 ED pricing.

fold down seats 430 incl

Anybody else notice this? When you compare ED invoice for the 335i coupe and sedan in the simplest possible identical configuration, the difference is only $275. So if you are doing ED, the pricing between the two is practically a wash.
