Salability of RWD 335i in CO

I recently moved from Phoenix to Golden with my rear-wheel drive 335. Since I don't have a second car, winter can obviously be a PIA, so I'm seriously considering selling my car and getting something more winter friendly.

My question is this: should I send it back to my brother-in-law in Phoenix to sell it or try to sell it locally here in CO.

It's a beautiful car: 335i sedan, sparkling graphite, m-tech exterior, terra interior, 6-speed manual, loaded to the gills, 30K miles...just afraid I won't get a good price in the Denver area since it's not AWD.

What do you guys thinks?

Thanks

Hey man where in Phoenix are you comming from? I am from Mesa my self...............Anyway, I think there is still a market for a 335i here in Denver but more for the coupes. You still could quite possiably sell it here though since we get so much sun. I say you put it for sale at both places and see who bites.

You should come on out to some of the rmcbmwcca events and get to know us local bimmer guys.

Moved here from Queen Creek last fall. I actually just drove a used S4 and now I'm thinking I'll keep my BMW. V8 sounds nice but such a heavy feeling car.

I've been meaning to look up some of the get togethers but just haven't found the time. Are they typically posed on this forum?

Take care.

Yep, that was me. I commute from Golden to Boulder pretty much every day. Although there are a million SG E90s out there, you can usually spot mine...M-tech bumpers, splitters, blacklines, dropped on 189-style wheels.

Hopefully I'll get to one of the events this summer.

Matt (Forza198?) has a MB 335xi coupe with an SSTT tuner. I also have a SG 335i but mines a coupe. I've driven my 335i one time in the snow. It really didn't do too bad. Colorado winters in not like before. We'll only get snow for a couple ays and then it will go away. You should be fine keeping your 335 sedan.

I have a 335i coupe as my DD and I put style 185's with blizzaks on it and it actually did really well the 1 snow storm we had. So good that I think only with regards to ground clearance will it be a pain in the ass. I was quite impressed with it. Its just the other idiots that dont know how to drive in it that scares me.

As far as the SSTT, how is that doing at altitude? Im torn on tune to get...want something that gives a little more low-end grunt and power but isnt a biatch to install. Was thinking JB+ or SSTT, but really would want a V3. Just not sure on that route.
