After much searching, finally got a 335i coupe!

Found a good looking CPO 4 hours away in indianapolis; car was in fantastic shape and dealer was willing to negotiate on the price, so she's in the garage now! It's incredibly hard to find a 6 speed CPO with Sport/Comfort Access (why would anyone buy a 335i without the sport package?? )

space grey/coral/aluminum, 6spd, prem/sport/cold, comfort, sat radio, ipod/usb. no idrive it's also been debadged and has a tint

Coming from a 2006 STI, this thing feels just as fast, but obviously a bit more comfortable! Loved the low end torque in the STI compared to other turbo sport compacts, and am definitely loving the N54s flat torque curve. The iPhone integration is fantastic, even without a nav screen to display phone info on.

Will miss the subie though!

Is it normal that getting the shifter into reverse takes some muscle? obviously they don't want you putting it in R when you mean 1, but it seems like a significant amount of effort. Also the hill holder feature def takes away some of the machoness of a 300hp bimmer, but I have to say it works well

Thanks guys! Dreyer and Reinbold was fantastic; they know their stuff, and there was no sense of being treated any differently even though we were buying a used car.

That is in fact a Legacy GT (wagon)! Also a fantastic car that is a lot of fun to drive!

In addition to my original shifter question, how do I get the flashlight out of the glove compartment? I have not read the manual yet

Gratz.. you can just pull out the flashlight..It fits pretty tight.. Seems like you have sports package and 18's. Check if you have oil cooler if not i think you can get it on for free...

The WRX STI had a bit north of 300hp/300tq (I had intake and exhaust); and with the AWD and trick driver controlled center diff, traction was never an issue with *only* ~300hp (the 335 is my first rwd car, and first vehicle with electronic traction/stability control).

The Legacy GT (automatic unfortunately!) has a detuned version of the STI's 2.5-liter (243hp/243tq). For the price compared to german rival wagons (ie 328xi), its quite a performance bargain. If Subaru built an STI version of the Legacy, I'd be in that
