e92 coupe - is this a fair price

07 Space grey / black int, Fully loaded with nav etc, auto and 19 inch wheels, 38 k miles for 30,700. Is that too much or is their room to bring it down further ? Its a cpo also

Try getting it down to 28000, so they can counter offer you somewhere in between.
That seems like an average price though.
I paid 26k for similar, except normal 17" wheels, 30k miles, and non CPO.

EDIT- You forgot to mention something important, is it a 328i, xi, or 335i?

yes 335i . i am a bit concerned about the mileage. They have another fully loaded 335i for 37k with 10 k less miles . Seems like too big a difference for just 10 k.

thanks !

Damn...
I didn't know E92 335i holds it's value this well.
38k and still goes for $30k?
Somehow it looks like a nice deal but it's really not if I really think about it.

Two years, 38k miles from $50k to $30 k...
That is NOT really holding value...
Especially if we know the dealer probably got it for ~25-26k.

Sounds like a good deal and an even better deal if you get some more off.

I looked at 2nd hand 335i options. Definitely haggle down in this economy. However, be careful with a 2nd hand 335i as the cars are driven very hard. Just insure it's either CPO'd or the factory warranties are still legit - bring it to a dealer for the $300 100 point inspection (worth it).

Bought for 50k, and selling for 30k 2 years later is not holding value. Value to me in the 335 is the driving fun! I think 28k-30k is a good price. There are those of us who mod the car, but do not beat it up. I'm keeping mine long term, and baby it most of the time. Mine is 2yrs old with 9500 miles.

I will ask about the oil cooler. I believe it was a lease return but thats all i know about it. I was planning on taking the vin to bmw and having them pull its service history. Will they do such a thing for me and what is the cost ?

Should be free if you go there and meet a Service advisor.

Yea obviously, especially given the fact with resale value of E46's.
But somehow I felt E92's just depreciate alot more then usually BMWs except 5's and 7's.
