wife drove my car for the 1st time

...and I've had it since 12/06. She really liked it....I took a snooze on the turnpike, and we were at our exit a little bit faster than I would have expected. Is there any way I can pull her top speed from the computer? j/k

I just hope I don't end up like my cousin, he gets a new 550i, and his wife is the one taking it to work. I don't get that at all.

some relationship you have. if my dad ever told my mom she couldn't use anything of his or vice versa she would laugh in his face. She's a sucker for her 750 but sometimes she steals his M5 for a day, he thinks its hilarious

Maxima SE 5-spd. Unfortunately, our next car (hers) will be an AWD SUV, so I guess life seems to move towards practicality.

Thankfully, the rest of my family thinks my car was made for a peasant and consequently are not at all interested in it.

Get an estate (wagon). Almost as spacious, and faster too.

That makes sense why she was in no big hurry to drive your car then, she drives a nice car already. But it's nice to know that someone who can appreciate a good car likes yours, it's not like she drives an econobox where just about anything seems better.

Get her a nice x5 for her AWD SUV she should be happy with that.

That's the best part of a manual tranny... It keeps my wife out. I had my 330 E46 for 7 years and she didn't drive it once.

We weren't married when I got the car, not even engaged, which is why I guess I've always felt the car is all mine....she did go with me to pick it up, though.

Objectively (not partial in any way to BMW) she said the steering was amazing and the pedals really felt good as far as the way they worked. She did find R took a lot of effort....personally I find the steering really sets BMW apart from most other cars...

I would love to have my fiance drive my car for me but would not be that happy if she tries to take mine instead of hers.
But either way, she can't drive mine because of 6mt.
