Anyone getting their car for the launch?

Are anyone supposed to get their car for the launche? There is a littel chance that I get mine but I am not sure. Hopefully I will get it before week 20 is over. that is 11-17 mai. I cant wait!!

Well mine will be ready for the official launch, but the garage don't want to let me go with it before they have their own display car, so I'm supposed to get the key around the 20th of may...
I'm looking for Aluminum "Pédalier" ( accelerator en brake pedal) but it looks that they don't have it as an accessory.

I wonder if the M3 or the one fits in the Z4

Aluminium pedals are listed in the German accessories so they will become available. Maybe it is just a question of time.

My Z4 has already been constructed and is traveling to Greece...
But... Did I understand well, the factory is in the US? I think they told me that the car is on a ship and travelling from the US...

Factory for old Z4 was in US. Factory for new Z4 is in Germany.

Its hard to tell. But from Germany til Norway it is 2-3 weeks. Mine are going with the boat that leaves Germany on saturday..... Hopefully I will get it 13/14 mai.

Mine also seems that will be here these days... But the Greek BMW hasn't anounced yet the official price and I'm afraid that they won't give me the car until the official launch in Greece, about 25 of May...

aris I think that the first cars will be delivered after 2 months...till end of July...if it is very BTO...

what colour did you ordered?

Where did you see that? I have been through the german Site but didn't finf any pedals made for the Z4...

The German paper based catalog lists them as:

Alu pedals

for manual transmission: ZF6 85 €
for automatic transmission: ZF6 85 €

Don't ask me why the list the different transmissions but then with the same product number.

No, it isn't true. I talked again today with my dealer and with BMW Hellas and they told me the same thing, until the end of May the car will be mine...

I ordered orion silver with beige leather interior, sDrive23i.

Furthermore, if you want to see the car sooner, the new Z4 will be at the Auto-Moto show 2009, in Larisa, from 6 to 10 of May. I'm sure for this, I talked today also with the Larisas dealer and BMW-Hellas.

I'd be fuming with them for that! It's your car, so if it's there then why can't you have it? I'd be looking for some stellar discount for letting them use it as a display car!
