How long did you wait before putting on license plates?

I was thinking about getting a little more use out of the dealer plates for that new car look

I waited a little while, but check this out. If you don't have your bumper drilled already, that's an awesome product. Well worth the $60 in my opinion.

I don't think that would work on our cars. There is a lower grill in the way.

It wouldn't work quite like in the video, but check out the images of the blue Subaru below the video. Looks like it can be mounted to fold under the bumper itself.

I don't have one of these, but considering it.

FOREVER. have a ticket or 2 for it but there is no way i'm drilling holes in my bumper for a license plate or paying for some way to attach it

the car looks better w/o it anyways much cleaner and the law is dumb in NYS

I used Velcro strips from Home Depot. No drilling and easy removal for car washing. Due to local regulations I have recently drilled them on. I switched the plates as soon as they came with the mail.

I used my old one while waiting for my new plate. I usually get a vanity plate but using the car's internal coding like 335c and E92M. I don't want people to know that I and driving a new car. But I leave the front off with no holes until I get the permanent plate.

I used my temporary plate until several days after it expired. Now I am waiting for my custom plate to come in.

I had my plates in about 2 weeks, installed immediately. I don't want to be a rolling billboard for a dealer and advertise I am a new owner that is likely not completely familiar with my car.
