Orca's birthday

So, she had her first birthday last week and I didn't do anything special (save from swap the bubble tire around). But today she got a new tire, a state inspection, and a full wash (they even got the brake dust off the tires). And she's due in for a new clear bra next week.

It's been a good year.

The new run flat was supposed to be about $330 (from the dealer). But I have tire insurance. One more bubble and I break even. Anyone know any good pothole roads I can test out the other 3 shoes with?

lol it shouldn't take you long to find one around here!

nice job with the tire insurance, looks like it will work in your favor..

I can't believe how expensive these crappy tires are.

OMG, come to RI and I'll be glad to show you the local potholes. I have them mapped out in my head for the ride to work. I went through 2 tires and 1 wheel in less than a month.

Bet she's thrilled about the new clear bra. What girl wouldn't be?

If you can tell me how that might work, we'll do something at Cars & Coffee.

A few things come to mind.... driving around with the top down while holding the cake above the roof line, testing the AC fan on high, driving past the cake really fast, blowing out the candle with the exhaust pipe

exhaust gases come out of the tailpipe pretty fast, esp up at 7000 rpms. that could easily blow out a candle

Tires at 70 mph could smash a cupcake and candle. And, it wouldn't make much more of a mess on Orca than Rachel's neighbor's yard!

Well, I'd hope that the cake was still edible. I like cake.

I'll get a cake together for C&C this weekend. And we can figure out how Orca blows out the candles when we're there.
