I just dropped off my car for alignment at Devon Hill BMW here just outside of Philly this morning... and they just gave me a call saying they cannot do alignment on my car, because my car is too low to go the alignment rack they have there!!

Now, they're refering me to one of the local Bavarian auto shop to do it for me, I think...

Just thought its funny, because i thought I didnt drop THAT low.. its low, but not that low....



and Kevin/Alex, you were saying I should go lower!!

The techs are being lazy... they need to put some wood down as a "step" to get your car on the rack. Take it somewhere else that will take the extra 5 mins to get your car up there

bring it to eurotire in fairfield. they work on all types of exotics as well so a lowered car is nothing to them.

Alex, I guess. The service rep just told me they cant do it. But at least, they're being honest and not trying to force it or something. Oh, did I mention that I scraped my driver side side skirt!! i have a slope going up my garage... If I go any lower, I may as well park my car out front on the street..

i have never been to this other shop and I have no idea how good/bad they are... Devon Hill got some of the nicest service department around Philly, I have heard... so thats why i went there.

Oh well, I got a nice fun little 135i loaner for a quick spin today at least..

Do they open on weekends?

Because this "shop" the dealer refered me to, they dont have loaner + they dont do weekends... and they want me to wait!!!! thats like 2 hours.. and i gotta work too!!

I'm trying to sort it out right now as I think I will try to cramp more work in and get to work late.

The place is in King of Prussia, on Church road.. its about 10 min drive from where we are in PM to that place.

But if it doesnt work, you'll get my PM!
