DCT for U.S. 335s?

I know this has probably been debated and answered somewhere on here, and I did do a 1/2 a$$ search, but is there a plan to put the DCT in 335s in the U.S. in the future?

2010 would be nice, that's when my lease runs out. If not, I'll just have to suck it up and go M3. Might do that anyway.

Still unclear as of today, but I'm still thinking that yes, the 7-speed DCT tranny will be available as an option for the 2010 335i here in the U.S. Reasons: 1) the DCT tranny will be available for the all new 2010 Z4, 2) the DCT tranny is already available in the 2009 335i in Europe, and 3) there is talk of the 2010 E92 being an LCI or mid-cycle refresh, with a complete redesign coming in 2012 or 2013...I don't think BMW will wait another 2 years to make the DCT tranny available (for the 335i) in the U.S.

These are my thoughts, but I suppose we'll know for sure within the next 2 months. My SA said he should have all the 2010 335i info in June or July and my "pre-order" should turn into an "order" thereafter.

would be sweet if they did, but I highly doubt it. Maybe 2011!

I'm on the fence right now between ordering the 2009 and waiting for the 2010 (and hoping the DCT becomes available).

Is there any way to start an online petition or something. BMW needs to know that if they don't put it in the 335, I'll either buy a used M3 with it or a new Audi S4. Either way BMW isn't getting to sell a car.
