WTB 17'' Wheels for Winter

I'm looking for some OEM 17'' alloys to use as winter wheels for my 335i. Right now I'm leaning towards style 185s or 161s at the moment, but will consider others. The wheels must be in excellent shape with no damage. I don't need tires, but if the price is right it wouldn't be a deal breaker to have them fitted.

I'm in Minneapolis, but do travel to Chicago and Milwaukee from time to time, so picking up wheels from anywhere in MN, WI or northern IL wouldn't be out of the question.

Thanks

If they're for winter, then why do you need them to be "excellent" shape?

Why are you worried about winter now? It's summer son! Worry about it in October!

I bought a set of OEM 161, with minor scuffs, for 300 and slapped on a set of Blizzaks and they worked wonders. I might be picking up a winter car, so PM me sometime late June, and I'll see if I'm selling them.

Dude if they're round, they're ok for winter. They're 17s, not HIN show stopper wheels.

I'm glad it's summer man believe me It was a looooong winter up here. Anyway, I'm want to get in early so that I don't end up rushing in Oct and paying over the odds.

I'm really careful about keeping my wheels free of curb rash - never had any! The winter here is so long I would have these on the car for almost half the year, so that is why I want some decent looking OEM wheels.

Another option I'm kicking around is putting Blizzaks on my current 189s and then picking up some 230s next spring. 17's would probably perform better as winters though...

Anyway, I'll PM you in a couple months, thanks

185s are 17''... Maybe you are thinking of 189s?
