DIY: Kidney Grille Painting

I apologize in advance, because I know I read a thread on this before ... searched and couldn't find it though.
----------------------------------------

Has anyone painted their front grilles vice ordering the "blacked out" set? I read of someone who did this and how it only cost $10 and looked perfect. Thank you!

i used vinyl on mine...

look at the girll swap diy... once the grills are out separate the two pieces and spray it ... theres not much to it. however i would spray it with "PLASTI-DIP" its rubberized really thick and wont chip like normal paint . Also if you decide you dont want it on anymore theres a way to peel it off.

How do you think it looks? Any chance you could post a pic or two?
