Key fob loose when car is on

Here's a good first post!

It looks like I accidently pushed the key fob in to remove the key, while the car was still on. I then realized the car was on, so turned it off, and then removed the key by pushing it in.

Now, it looks like when the key fob is in, it is loose and wiggles when the car is on. I don't remember it doing this before (I've had the car for 2 weeks now).

Sound familiar? Anything I can do?

I, respectfully, disagree.

If the fob is secure in the slot, who cares if it wiggles, jiggles, and/or dances?

Tight keyholes are hard to come by these days, if you know what I mean.

While that is an issue, the general availability of keyholes in Miami that are willing to accommodate one's key is much higher than here in Boston.

Is your keyfob black? Because if so, sticking anything else in the ignition will be like throwing a hotdog down a hallway.

Putting TWO keys in the key hole will eliminate this problem.

While I question your methodology in fixing this "problem", welcome.

You may want to try having your girlfriend rub on the keyfob 10x or maybe give it a couple of licks immediately prior to sticking it into the keyhole
