Need a detailer in PA montgomery county

Anyone can recommend a good detailer here in montgomery county, PA? Looking for one for a friend with a Lexus IS. She needs a detail bad. Swirl marks like whoa.

I am shopping for one as well, and recently found out that there is one on Lancaster Ave, in Wayne.

I am thinking taking my car there to do detail as well.

I saw their work and they work on the BMW in Devon Hill, Mainline Landrover, and MB dealers.

They work on mostly high end cars and the day I visited, they were detailing a pretty new (maybe 06 or 07 Bentley)

Anyway, price is good too, at $125 for exterior that includes wash/wax/buffing/clay bar, the whole works.

Anyone interested in doing a GB in Philly?

and $125 is not a "guy".. its a legit actual shop wit a lot that land rover/bmw/mb park their cars and detail for the dealers.

and you know, its Mainline area, so, I think they should be fine.

I will have my detail the week before the big meet.. haha

anyone interested in a GB and maybe we can get it to a $100. But the thing is, they dont work on weekends.....................................

Main line is right where I work. When I get my next car I might get a detail through them since I could prob drop it off on my way to work and pick it up next day.

Nah, just trying to hook her up. Last time we went to Soho's it looked mad dirty and there were definitely some swirl marks. I told her to call you about that dude that you were talking about that comes to your house/work and does it.

OK guys and gals , this is what I got...My wifes cousin just started doing advertised detailing ( i just made him flyers ) But he's been doing it for 3 to 4 years now..Interior /Exterior.. He can do wash, wax, clay, buff for $100 and black cars $110..And he works weekends!!!! His name is Rob and is located in Roxborough, Pa. 19128.. I don't let anyone touch my car but me!! But I would let Rob do the 850 if need be.. 856-528-6714.. He helped me do the 8 for a show I put it in..Look at the reflection in the trunklid.. I wouldn't recommend him if I wasn't sure he could do the job you're looking for..

Drive to Philly. It is worth it.

USA Auto Suuply, handled my Vette and got it back to showroom new. Color sanding, and all (it was black, and 7 years old) for like 300 bucks.

HIGHLY reccomend.

Ask for Ed or Ivan.

You guys are not getting actual swirl removal for $100-$125, at best you are getting a lot of glaze that will wear away after the first wash. Just my 2 cents.

+1. IF someone is stupid enough to just charge $125, they are ripping themselves off.

If that is the case, I will sue their ass.

Because what I did was I asked and asked, and confirmed, that they do the following on the exterior

-hand wash
-swiral removal/cut polish if needed
-buffing
-wax

for $125.

Now, if there are other "terms" that can replace or misunderstand my term of swiral marks removal, then maybe they have a case. If not, I'm gonna sue their ass if they dont.

OR

maybe because they do so much jobs for the local premium dealerships, they can charge that low? I dont know, when I was there on a Wednesday afternoon, I counted 5 or 6 guys working on 3 cars simultaneous and a couple in the 2nd floow office that I could see + the person who came to talk to me. That is 8-10 people in a detail shop that I counted.

I dont know, that is actually one of the larger number of people that i can see for a detail-only non drive-through shop. Its not a drive-thru car wash services where you employ 4 people to "wipe" the car.

So.. I might still give them a try. If not, worse case, I'll just go somewhere else again.

how are you going to do a GB on a detail?? quality details usually take anywhere from 3-4 hrs, if you have more than 2-3 cars thats a lot, plus im sure the detailer would like some time to enjoy his day.

I dont know yet.

But my experience is that, if the people who wants to this will put down a deposit of say, $40, and then we can schedule our own time, "Most" of the shops would do it, since it is confirmed business, and if not, they just eat this deposit if no schedules been made.

So, basically, I have to approach them with a proposition that I have X number of cars and we are looking for a shop to do our details for X reason (i.e. the 7/12 BMW big meet). I am sure the shop would at least listen and entertain a GB proposal.

It is all about the numbers and I dont think anyone would deny any new business.

It will take 4-5 hours actually, from this shop.

But I do see that they have like 5-6 people working on 3 cars, it is possible to have a GB at the same day for 6 cars? I'm sure something can be worked out.

I dont know.. i know where it is... it is right across/very close to Mainline Land Rover on rt 30, on Lancaster Ave. They do the LR cars as well.

didnt have time to check today, but will go check them out tomorrow after work.

So, it is safe to say we have 3-4 cars?

I'll test the water and see their interest.

I am not too sure if I want to detail yet, but if it is for a $100 GB, I think I'm down, just before the 7/12 big meet

dude, you work right across the parking lot from the ferrari dealership. Walk in there and ask them who they use. If it is good enough for a ferrari dealer, I'm sure it will be fine for a lexus.

Also, Dr. Detail on rockhill rd in bala cynwyd are pretty good.

This seems more like one of those car wash type detail shops. I'd be scared to see these cars under a halogen light once the glaze wears off. The fact that dealerships use them would just give me reason to stay away, dealerships look for the cheapest work possible, not quality work.
