FINALLY! This is what I have been waiting for! I have been reading results on Crackberry.com and found that for best results the BBStorm should be mounted via a windshield carrier and the battery facing towards the front of the car!

I will wait to DL it because a new revision 1.1 is coming out soon!!!

Yea I need to update my Storm as well. I also want to DL some kind of task manager. I sometimes leave a bunch of crap running in the background and it slows down my phone.

Yeah, it took a little over 2.5 hours to just download it. I let it finish since it was already so far. It took a little over 3.5 hours from start to finish to download and install it

Just an update on the new software. After I installed it, I didn't seem to notice much of a difference. After I played with it a little more, I found that the phone does run a little faster. Scrolling is a lot faster now. Also, when typing an email or text message, remember how it was a pain in the ass to go back and put the cursor where you want it? Well now they fixed it. You can actually drag the cursor around with your finger now.

That's all I've noticed so far. I haven't played with it much since I updated it. I'll let you know what else I find.

This is what the phone out of the box should have looked like. Hopefully there will be more updates to come but this is headed in the right direction finally. PM me if anyone needs help updating or needs any app info etc. GL!
OMG! The camera! It is soooo much better now! I am honestly liking the phone a lot more. It is so much nicer to use.

I do have one question tho. It has nothing to do with the update but regarding the VZ Navigator. Does Verizon charge you to use this app? I know on my old phone they wanted to charge me 10 bucks a month to use it. I'm not sure if they charge you to use it with the Blackberries or not?

Another update.

The battery life seems to last longer now. These past two days, my battery is at about 4/5 when I come home from work. Normally it is at about 2/5. I haven't talk to my girlfriend as much as I normally do these past two days, we've both been busy, so that might have something to do with it also. I'll let you know how long the battery lasts when I use it like I normally do.

I am much happier with the phone now and love using it so much more than before! I was contemplating if i made the right choice ditching the physical keyboard at first but now im glad that i did. The UI is so much more intuitive and i love the comfort of using the phone in landscape vs a cramped portrait keyboard.
