Something I just notice a last week, and it starting to annoy me. here is a pics, trying to see if I should take it to the dealers and get it fix or not

I would. It looks like the LCD screen has a defect. That would bother me too.

YUP, looks like a dead LED row

Dealer should replace the instrument cluster

Luckly the E90 updates the milage if you fit a new cluster, so you will never know it was replaced ( or so im told )

I have a manual, so my display is a little different. It does have a border, but no line a milimeter away from the edge like yours...

It wouldn't bother me - but if it bothers you...take it in and see what they say. They might think you are crazy, but then we are crazy to spend so much on a car...

Confirmed - all the mileage details and settings are carried over to the new instrument cluster. Mine was replaced at 1000 miles as the plastic was scratched on delivery and the whole cluster had to be replaced. It's a relatively quick job and as E90Fleet says, the new cluster is coded with all the previous settings.
