sad... very sad decision...

so me and my wife had decided to let go the 135i.. yes its hard for me but practically it is the right thing to do. this is my story...

after she gave birth the 135i is in the parking area most of the time. i am only using it like once a week for just after my work going to a ride and enjoy the car for 30mins and that's it.

we are now working as a regular employee, before we are both contractors that is why i bought the 135i and and X5 for the incoming baby. now it is very life changing. this company offered us a good benefit just to join in. my wife is working from home (office near us is still under construction) and they gave me a SUV for my everyday use plus gas card and everything.. (im reporting to the office in marlboro MA once a week)

now both X5 and 135 is sitting at the parking area.. since she gave birth most of the time the X5 is the vehicle we used of course with baby inside.

we had a very very long conversation last night and even my wife is so sad. she know's me very well about how i love the car..

but the good thing about her is she told me in a year or two i can buy a 2 seater car. she told me about cayman s or a Z4M

the car is only 6K miles without any scratch with some mods like
gloss grille and EFX.

how will i sell the car quickly? craigslist? dealership? carmax?

im still around...

Fast is Carmax, but they give you "auction" value...low ball you, try Craig's list, but bad economy to sell an expensive car like a BMW...congrats on the baby, and good luck with the sale

It would make better sense to get rid of the X5. You have 2 SUV's and one small car.

Your wife happens to like the X5 over your company-supplied SUV... what a surprise. Keep the company SUV and the 135.

Keep 'em all! I regret selling my wife's G37"S" after only 7k miles because she had a baby. We replaced it with an IS350 and have regretted it ever since. You have an SUV for family stuff and maybe you could just drive your own car to work every now and then...

Just keep track of the mileage for personal use, and reimburse your company for it, if they would let you of course.

+1

My mom used to have a company car when she was younger and all she had to do was just keep track of how many miles were driven for personal, and how many were business.

She reimbursed the company for the gas she used on personal miles, thats it. It has nothing to do with karma, its just how much you're willing to go the huge extra distance of writing down what your odometer says each time you fill up.
