Best Low Calorie Alcoholic Drink

So as some of you may know, I have been on a hardcore diet for roughly 2 weeks now. I will be going out this weekend with some buddies and was wondering what I can roughly drink.

I have always been a big fan of:
Bacardi+Diet Coke
7 and Diet 7
Cosmo /Crystal Light
Johnny Walker on the rocks
Skyy Vodka shots

Anyone have any other suggestions? I am keeping it under 500 calories for the night and running atleast an extra mile!

there's no such thing as a "diet drink", but i drink vodka soda, 2 limes

VODKA + SODA. /Thread

You wanna stay away from booze with color because they usually have higher levels of sugar (worse hangovers). And try to mix with something thats low calorie or calorie free (soda water). Don't use tonic as thats about as bad as regular soda.

hence we are left with vodka/soda, gin/soda, etc.

Me = huge fan of patron anything or most upper end tequila's.

True, but jack/rocks vs. jack/coke, you get ~ an extra 30g carbs per drink for the same buzz. Plus, you look tougher with the jack/rocks

I'd call 65 calories per ounce pretty low (80 proof neutral spirits.) The problem with mixed drinks is always the mixer, not usually the alcohol. And, that most people don't have just one or two shots, but multiple shots.

A Dirty Vodka Martini will have about 200 calories, assuming 3oz of Vodka, some brine and a few olives. 2 of those and you are near your 500 calorie limit, plus having consumed 6 shots of vodka.

500 calories:
5 light beers. They average about 100 calories, but watch out for some like Sam Adams Light (125). Amstel Light has 96 calories.

3 Vodka Martini's with olives

4 - 80 proof drinks, if made with zero calorie mixers (Diet Coke, Coke Zero, club soda, seltzer, water, etc.) (assumes 2 oz of spirits in 6 oz of mixer)

5 - 5oz glasses of wine (red or white, doesn't really matter.)

Either way, you are looking at about 5 drinks MAX for the night.

As for low calorie drinks... just drink until you're no longer self conscious... or, drink your weight-gaining fears away.

I'm pertty sure its 7kcal/g, in between protein and carbs at 4 and fat at 9.

to the op: as has been said, stick to vodka soda. But one night really isn't going to effect your diet.
