why wouldnt a dealer want to fix your car? they get paid on warranty work...
maybe what you want fixed really isnt 'broken' and will be rejected by BMW NA |

My car has that cranking issue. But they keep saying that there's nothing wrong with it. That's why I wanna see if BMW NA can do something about it. Also thanks for the link.

Not sure this would make any difference but ...... send a PM to BMW NA as they are a registered member of the forum. They do seem to show up in different threads and just recently as a matter of fact.

Dealer can't do any warranty work unless the car is throwing the required codes to allow the work. Best case for you is to see if the dealer can do a PUMA case and have a BMW field rep come out and look.

According to your video clip ......... the car DOES have issues. No codes thrown means the dealer isn't going to find a problem (as far as they're concerned).

They used to post here quite a bit. They accepted my "friend request" a while back so there's still hope that they'll respond to you.

BMW just issued a letter to many 335i owners specifically stating that a long crank is a symptom of the fuel pump. They also state that if you have those symptoms to bring the car in for service. Bring them a copy of the letter (it is posted somewhere on this site) and say fix it per BMW NA.
