Where to paint & install spoiler in NYC/LI?

Hi ppl,

I just got a factory M3 style spoiler from Rallye since I had $300 in gift certificates. I asked Rallye body shop and they quoted me around $300 to paint/install it. Kinda expensive I would think...

Anybody know a good shop that uses BMW factory paint and does a good job installing?

Rallye charged me $115 to paint it. I installed it myself (its just stickon!!!)

did u use the double-sided tape? don't they have a glue-like compound to mount the spoiler as well?

Tape is fine, and it will allow you to change it out easier if you want to later on!

i just added 2 more strips of 3M tape and its been tested at 140+ mph (on a closed course) trust me its got no where 2 go if installed correctly

is it flush to the trunk? any gaps?

i just used the 3m tape from bmw and its been on my car at over 120mph multiple times...still on no problem and solid as a rock
