cat delete, same exhaust volume...
I have the V3 rev II with Canbus and I am running stage 1 AT, I really wanna go to stage 2 but I do not want a loud car
So is there any way to go completely catless (AR downpipes and midpipes) while keeping the OEM exhaust and muffler and maintain the same exhaust volume as a stock exhaust... and if not possibe, how much louder are we talking here, also any chance of droning??? thanks for the help... |

2nd cat delete doesnt cause drone but will increase the growl by a little. did that before when i was running the stock exhaust.

You won't retain the stock exhaust volume but it won't be very loud either. Secondary cat delete adds a little volume and catless downpipes will add a little volume plus add some raspiness. It's hard to explain.
I cut the secondary cats out of my stock exhaust. It's not loud at all, it just makes the exhaust note more noticeable. I also heard in person the stock exhaust with just catless downpipes and it sounded great. For what you're asking and trying to do I think you'll be happy with it.
