best exhaust for 335i coupe?

Im new to this BMW thing, i came from the dark side (mercedes e55) and bought a black 335i. love it! just had the VIshnu Procede installed and am stoked on the power this thing delivers. its like a whole new beast under the hood. im looking to install a new exhaust on this thing and have been leaning towards a meisterschaft or eisenmann exhaust. anyone have any suggestions or know where i can pick one up for a good price?

betweeen the two you are willing to get i would go with eisenmann but make sure to get a FULL exhuast system meaning downpipes and all .. IMO

There is a lot of information, including stickies w/ video clips, on exhaust systems here.

but if you go completely catless with eisenmann race, it's going to drone, especially on AT.
I recommend Bastuck which doesnt drone at all and sounds very exotic but not as loud as eisenmann race.

My favorite 2, both DP-back (eliminate the 2ndary cats), are AE and HKS. Both seem to sound great with no drone. Don't know much really about the 2 you listed, sorry.

Thumbs up on Eisenmann, but they are on the pricey side. HKS and AE sounds good also and more reasonable priced.

HKS ftw !!!
I believe the new HKS system dynoed the highest in a comparison test against Supersprint, Autobahn Exotics, Borla, UUC Corsa RSC335.

This story originally appeared in the May 2009 issue of Grassroots Motorsports and was reviewed by Per Schroeder who said it offered the best gains with the least compromises in sound levels and build quality

You really can't go wrong with either the HKS or AE

I chose the AE as it was the one of best exhausts out there that had a quad setup !

Like I said, for me it will be AE or HKS... if I had to pick today I would pick AE. I just don't like the H (or X) connection on the HKS I think with N/A that is a must but on a twin turbo car you don't need the balancing or scavenging... and I think each turbo having it's own pipe with no point for turbulence is the "best design". The only conflict I am having is that regardless the HKS is still putting down the power. Both are almost identical for HP, TQ, weight, and dba...

Does HKS
a) come in quads (couldn't spot it on their web site, but who knows)
b) NOT come with blued tips?

Either look for one in the for sale section from a private seller, or be prepared to pay full price from AE. The demand is very high on each batch they produce, and they usually sell out quick.

I am extremely happy with AE compared to the Britalman I had earlier. I don't think you can go wrong with either AE or HKS.
