Help Me Decide On A Watch

Hey guys, I'm deciding between 3 watches. Each have their own +'s and -'s. All cost about the same and all are automatic. Please decide between these three. May be open to other suggestions, but I'd really like an opinion on just these. TIA.

The Rolex - Automatic, classic, love the two tone color scheme.

Corum - I spend a lot of time on the water and the tide dial would be very cool. Not much brand recognition (maybe good or bad), kind of cartoonish.

Panerai - Would be a little dif than the pic shown. I want the "power reserve" model which has a small dial showing how much movement is left on the automatic movement (VERY COOL). Always wanted one. Not played out yet. Sleek looking.

I love Panerai watches. I'd choose that one. That particular Corum doesn't do it for me.

Panerai easily. Especially if it's the Power Reserve.

That rolex looks like it's for someone over 50. The only Rolex that looks good these days is the Daytona.

Panerai gets my vote.

Actually I saw a Rado watch that caught my eye recently. Let me look for a pic.

I would have to agree with everything you just said.

This is the exact panerai I would get:

Rolex gets my vote (although not the submariner or the gmt or presidential). Not so much for style, but quality and ruggedness. My dad bought one of the original explorer 1's around 1958 and it still runs like a champ. My parents bought me an explorer 2 for my graduation in '93 and I think the way it's going it may outlast me. It's been serviced once and it keeps absolutely perfect time. It may gain or lose 30 seconds at most in a year. Simply phenomenal for a mechanical watch. I wear it like my wedding band - never comes off, and yet the crystal doesn't have a single discernible mark anywhere. Highly recommend the man made sapphire crystals. There are definitely flashier, perhaps sportier looking watches, but the stainless explorer in black and white is classic to me. Anything that's built well and works is good looking in its own rite to me - doesn't need lots of color or a fancy band, etc. The bottom line is buy what you like, not what you think other people will admire. That will keep you happy in the long run.

Go for the Rolex.

Trust me I have been there done that. Rolex is the Tiger Woods of watches, it is always the Rolex vs ......

and on a practical side you won't have to explain to the girls that you have a quality watch.

if you in the sea a lot then I would strongly recommended the Rolex.

As an owner of all 3, go for the Panerai. I get way more compliments on it and see WAY less of them when I'm out!
