Tint - Dust and Removal
I got my tint done on Saturday morning and I've noticed that there is a spot on the rear windshield where there are a few dust particles trapped between the window and tint. Additionally, there are two light scratches on the front driver's side window. Should I have the shop remove them and re-do it?

Absolutely. I had a small bubble that hadn't 'cured' after about two weeks on my rear window. I took it by my shop, no appointment, and they took it right back and fixed it. Took about 30 minutes to peel the old film off and put a new one on.

You can take it back and have them do it again but it will never be perfect. I just had mine done and the rear window also has a small piece of dust in the film but it's at the bottom of the glass and you can hardly see it.
I have never seen a tint job that did not have at least one or two flaws. Unless you have it done in a dust/lint free environment, there is always a chance that something will get trapped in there.

Aftermarket tints will NEVER be the same quality as factory tinted windows.
There are dust and airborne particles in the air that inevitablly get trapped between glasses and films during tint installation and they will form tiny little bubbles. I am yet to see a single window with a PERFECT AFTERMARKET TINT. Most people who are not very anal or obsessive compulsive won't notice them and will be perfectly happy with less than perfect tinting job. But people who can notice the slightest imperfection on factory paint job or dead or stuck pixels on LCD monitors should not get their windows tinted as the imperfections will start to drive them crazy. |

If the just is not directly insight, i wouldn't go back to the shop.
If you see it everyday(probably!), i would return to the shop and complain. As other people allready said, there is no perfect tinting...
