Really depends on what kind of sound you want. Best thing to do is listen to all the clips and pick the one which you like best.

I'm in the same position as you since I'm fixing to make a purchase on an exhaust system for my e90 M3.

I'll try to name a few choices that fit the e90 M3:

-AA Signature exhaust
-Eisenmann Race/Sport
-Gintani

Keep in mind that most exhaust systems for the M3 are made for the e92 version.

As another gentleman said, it would be a great idea to search youtube for exhaust videos on the e90 m3. All the best with your choice!

Hi Guys

Done the whole Youtube thing a while back, the Eisenmann Race/Sport seems to be a favorite on there. I did write to those guys but got no reply!

Guess I am after more sound then extra horses, as they all seem to come at the top end from what I have been reading anyway.

Nawazz......congrats on the motor, bet you can't wait!

i really want to upgrade the exhaust system too, but i dont think the youtube clips are any justifications to what they sound like in the flesh! so i am going to wait until i hear more of them in person before making the decision

We are having a dyno day this Saturday and there should be a couple of M3's with different exhausts fitted attending. Feel free to pop along.

We could try and organise a M specific dyno day so people can hear as many exhausts as possible in day.

Its a difficult choice - I personally love the sound of the AA and Eisenmann Race system..oh and the Remus Race. Need all three and change them round as and when

Thanks KadeSdad! My M3 should be here sometime next week.

Contact Imran@Evolve. Maybe he can help you on getting the Eisenmann Race for you. If not, Jesal @ IND can also help. Good luck with your decision my friend!

You're right, the vids don't do enough to truly let you know how the exhaust sounds. For me, I just rely on tons of research.

Oh yeah..........That's right, I forgot about Dinan.. They're not as popular with the e90 M3's, but still check them out.

Who did you send an email to regarding the Eisenmann? I see that you are in the UK. CA Auto is the Eisenmann distributor in the UK http://www.ca-at.co.uk/home.php

We can try and organise a M3 specific rolling road day if there is demand for it some time in August. This would give an opportunity for owners to compare power figures on the same day and listen to a variety of exhausts.

I'll make a seperate thread and see if the interest is out there.
