driver side headlight brighter than passanger side - normal?
guys,
i just realized (and confirmed by friends driving in front of me) that my driver side headlight is quite a bit brighter than the passanger side. I haven't taken it to the dealership yet but just curious if others have had same issue or is this normal? i assume that one side is leveled higher than the other, but wasn't sure if that's by design. and even so, why is the driver side brighter .. i thought it would be the opposite so not to blind the on coming traffic? dont think it's the bulb since it's still bright.. but the driver side is alot brighter.. so im not sure which one is "normal".. any thoughts? |

If anything, the passenger's side should be brighter or aimed higher, which is by design since you don't want to blind oncoming traffic. There's a simple DIY for re-aiming your headlights if you do determine that they're off, but if you took it to the dealership they could easily re-aim them to better specs than you probably.

that's what i thought. i think dropping the car lower (coil on mine) coulda affected it too. we'll c. i'll take it in to have them take a look at it, should be easy fix at the dealership.

Hey, if you need to adjust your headlights, here's the thread. I adjusted my headlights after getting my car lowered.
