I was wondering how many watts everyone is running, has anyone done any upgrade to battery and/or alternator to run a big system, and do you get any dimming of headlights or any other light in car.
I'll go first, 1000wrms subwoofer system, no electrical upgrades, and slight dimming when running system on full blast |

I have a modest system, no battery upgrade, no dimming either:
Driving one Infinty Perfect 10 at 350 wrms with an Alpine MRD-M605 @ 4 ohms. I might add another Perfect and drive 600 wrms @ 2 ohms. Only problem is having trunk space. I would need to have a truly custom box to conserve space for two 10s. |
