Should I make the switch? 350z to 335.. Help me decide
( MODS if this is the wrong section, please feel free to move it else where )
Hey fellas! Ive been reading this forum for quiet some time now! Doing some research, searching what my best options are. Even though I know somethings about the 335, I gotta learn more.. Finally got a chance to join today. Well first of all I have a supercharged 350z. Iam running 400rwhp 370rwtq. Iam thinking of making the switch to an 07-08 335 i or xi . Iam still not 100% as I do love the Z and the power. I have put a lot of work into it. I always loved the 335 and the power!.. but ive got over 80K miles on the Z and like i said i love the car but i guess i just need something different you know. but i do not want to regret making the switch. Its a very hard decision. another thing why the 335xi is a plus is because of the snow. The Z is terrible in the snow. Even tho I dont mind it bc i dont drive it when it snows ever.. but still the Xi is a plus there. what do you guys think? will the 335 disappoint me ?? How do these cars hold as far as stock block power? I still gotta do some more research but... what do you guys think? power wise.. -how much would it be to get me to where iam in the Z? 400+ whp? ( i know 400whp in the 335 twin turbo would be a lotttt of fun! ) -any sort of mod list? what I need etc? --- I have been reading that with Down pipes, full exhaust , intake and JB3.. the car hauls ass!!! correct me if im wrong plz! I know this is an bmw forum and im guessing everyone will say get an bmw lol.. but just be honest, help me out! thanks boys! |

+++++1. Could't aggree more. The new Z370 is beatiful car and much faster than 335 (stock to stock) and handles better and looks better. Z370 is a true performance car while 335 is a luxury sports car. If performance is your priorty than Z370 is the rigth one. But if you don't mind sacrifising on performance little bit to get more lux car, then 335 is the rigth choice.
Good luck |
