What should i do?

Guys i need some help. I bought my car from mc kenna () And im having a hard time with the service dept. Ive had issues with my seat and after a long time we got it fixed. When i went to pick up the car i noticed the steering wheel scratched up from them putting the seat in. The sad thing is i did not even notice the huge scratches on the side of the center counsel.

How should i deal with this? If i had a way i would want it to be fixed by some other dealership. I dont want to ever take my car there ever again. HAs anyone ever contacted BMWUSA?

I hope im not in a tough spot for notice it so late?

Thanks for the help.

Garage List
Did you talk to them about it? If not, you just might have to contact BMWNA.

I saw the steering wheel showed them that and they said they will special order it, but i never noticed the other huge scratches.

Its been 2 weeks since i called today about the wheel and they have yet to respond.

They need to replace the console and the wheel. I had a door panel replaced on my old E46 cause they scratched it when replacing the window regulator. And it was less damage than you have. Speak to the service manager and the sooner the better.

That's obnoxious, and they should absolutely be held accountable. Whatever they tell you, it's unacceptable for them to return the car to you with that mess, let alone give you trouble over fixing it.

Call the dealer again, you should politely stay on their case to let them know you're not going away. Allowing them to forget about it over the past two weeks isn't helping you. If their service department is uncooperative, you should call BMWNA and (politely) inform them of the situation and how you feel. They usually put a call into the dealer and somehow things get straightened out.

Good luck, and let us know what happens.
