No left exhaust??? 08 335

Hey Guys,

I noticed on my 08 335, at idle there is no exhaust/air coming out of the left exhaust. Is this normal? Can someone check their car and verify?

i think its suppose to be like that. after u unplug the actuator thing in the trunk behind the left taillight then that exhaust pipe opens up during idle. golf tee mod works too. but of course even if you dont do this, both pipes work when your cruising and stuff.

What he said, its suppose to help your car heat up quicker if i remember right. or something along the that line.

at all the n00bs....

FYI, the left exhaust has a vacuum tube that has it shut under 3k RPMs....you'll also notice this during warm up where you'll only see smoke out of one exhaust pipe until 30 secs later where it opens up...you can just unplug the actuator in the trunk aka "exhaust mod" or plug in a golf-tee into the vacuum tube to prevent it from shutting the valve.

Quite a bit of difference before and after, some may complain of a bit of drone...but I didn't notice anything that bad.
