Lol, it's very parallel indeed, but I don't think it's a good idea to park that close to a sidewalk for many reasons:
1. People on the streets can be assholes, and litter which would then touch your car. 2. Pulling out can be a bitch since you would need to move your front wheels at least a little bit towards the right. 3.Not sure if the wheels are touching the sidewalk (maybe its not), but wouldn't that hurt the wheels because of the constant pressure? I can't think of other reasons. But in terms of actual parking, quite spectacular indeed!
