320d rear brake pads
looking for the cheapest option here but in a safe way, just looking at my rear brake pads and i can see a few mm left to my untrained eye, maybe southwest meet didnt do me any favours lol, says on the onboard comp i have 9000mls left, car has done 37k on the same set, is it worth changing them now before the sensor comes on or wait, dont want to mark the discs then i have to replace the discs, or does anyone have some spare in there garage lol,i want OEM pads and where is the best place to get them, and is it worth me buying the pads, have them fixed in my local garage and wait till the onboard comp goes to zero and have it reset

Ebay or failing that your local dealer for the parts.
Not a fan of any other braking suppliers; they are either crap or noisy/dusty.

My experience is that the OEM BMW rear pads are very expensive when sold by the dealer. But remember, any pad that you may buy, whether they are aftermarket or not, you will need to change the brake sensor too.

yup, I wouldn't go further then 5K on the idrive system. I went to 1000 and the pads where like a layer over the disc. Wasn't an issue as with 45K on the clock the discs needed doing anyway.
