Gas cap and fuel door left open on E 46

Yesterday I stupidly drove 4 miles and even more stupidly left the car out in the rain overnight with cap and fuel door open . Today the car started and ran perfectly.
Please don't remind this old man of how senile I am. Instead advise if I need to do anything such as a fuel additive,
My car is 10 years old . 40,000 miles and I use Shell 93

Ehhh.... You could always get some additive to dry the gas out but if it started and ran fine it sounds like its okay.
