I think this is the wrong spoiler

I bought my car on Wednesday and the owner was nice enough to give me a new M3 trunk spoiler. From the pictures I've seen though, it seems like this is for the e92 rather than an e90. The curvature of the piece doesn't seem to match with the trunk. Someone want to confirm that?

I just ordered a M3 rear boot spoiler from Tischer.
That's not installed properly.

haha, its not installed at all, I just placed it there. I'm pretty sure this for an e92, but is there any way to tell if its OEM because I don't see a part number? Are the companies out there making replicas?

how do I fail, I got this for free. Maybe I should have mentioned that it is NOT installed but I thought that would be obvious since the piece is in two different positions on the trunk in the pictures

I saw some aftemarkets but felt better going with OEM.
Haven't read any bad things about the aftermarket ones,though.

That's the E92 spoiler, the exact same thing happened to me when I bought my rep so I drove over to Bimmian and swapped it.

I made a FS thread, hopefully somebody will pick it up. I would have put it on if it fit but honestly I'd rather take the money and put it towards blacklines or something
