Ticking tsb and questions
So I have this loud ticking noise when the car is warming up or just sitting at idle. I first thought it was normal ( my Rsx and s2000 did that all the time) but have been reading and been told that there is a tsb on it. So I searched and I came short. People have been saying it may be the wastegate or something that needs to be adjusted. I was wondering if someone could point me to the right direction on where I could find more info on this ticking issue tsb. Also I have an appointment tomorrow and was wondering if I should take my charge pipe with bov and my dci off before taking it in.
Thanks mark |

Happened to me also.
In my case the car was sitting inthe garage for 2 days and when I started it I heard the ticking. After driving it for 2 miles it went away. I went with the "it's normal for the car" type of explanation. I don't have the posts on this forum concerning the ticking noise book marked but a quick search should bring them up and you can decide if it's worth being concerned about. |
