what do you guys think is the best bov out there and are there any cons to having one such as power loss or warranty issues?

I have the AA BOV on my 135 and on Jon's 335 and love the sound. It's a well built setup that is fairly straight forward to install (DIY provided). If you are looking for a pshh sound from a BOV, this will do the trick.

Power loss is minimal, the warranty thing would concern me plus I got past the pshh sound a few years ago.
