its such a pain that bmw are so cagey about this product, i know they want you to get it fitted through them but someone out there must know they have it in the work shop

this tape has a specific width, thickness and grade and its out there somewhere!!!

My spoilers going to be held on by BetaLink glue, the spoiler itself when I bought it unpainted had 3M Doublesided tape on it already but after some research on this website and when the bodyshop guy was painting the spoiler he told me that they're going to fit it with BetaLink glue. But yeah, try to find 3M Doublesided adhesive tape.

Shafz.

EDIT: Nevermind, Mallard seems to have provided the proper info you needed.

the spoiler has a slight recess or lip in it so it doenst look like you should use glue, or you can but have to build up a thickness of glue, also needs gaps to allow rain water to drain

Listen to the people Lee! Use the "No More Nails Tape."

The OEM stuff will simply be a 3M tape in a BMW branded packet. People have used it and it hasn't worked, but the "No More Nails Tape" did.

Yeah I'm just going by what that tutorial is saying, and if it can't be fitted with glue we have 2 full rolls of 3M doublesided so I'll see what happens when I visit the bodyshop after its painted.
