What did you choose your BMW over?

What did you choose your BMW over? If you were choosing between two BMWs, what were you choosing between? Explain.

Didn't look at anything else. Knew I wanted a 335i since before the car was even released.

Did you experience a lot of problems with the 2007 335i? I was afraid of getting a 2007 because of issues I heard about.

Went to buy a 328.
Took a test ride.
Then took another test ride in a 335.Known fuel pump issue and still bought the 335...twice!

Other choice was a B7 S4. Lease on B6 s4 had run out, Lease rates on Audis at that time(and currently as well) were much higher than on the 335i. Got tired of the gas guzzling . I have been very happy with my 335i. That's not to say that I won't consider some other cars when my BMW lease ends in 4/10

Had both wastegate actuators replaced for rattling and front turbo replaced for bearing seizure. That was it.

Initially I was looking at a G37s or a 328. The I made the mistake of testing a 335. Now I owe BMW financing 50k.

Between an 09 Audi A4, 07 BMW 335i, 09 BMW 328i. Choose the 328i because the Audi interior was boring and the handling didn't match the BMW. Chose the 328i over the 335i because the 335i had no nav and 0.9% financing was only for the 09s.

I was down to G37 or 335i, drove the G37 6MT, didn't like it at all...drove a 335i auto coupe for the susan komen fundraiser, liked it a lot better. year later, finally found a CPO with color/options, no regrets

I liked the IS350, I still think their beautiful cars but the IS250 and 350 look identical other than the badge on the trunk and i didnt want my 350 looking the same as some girls 250 haha and I'm always a sucker for a coupe. and I wanted a german car for a change, so i went with the 335. Can't beat lexus in reliability though

I was after an IS250 RWD MT new. But the dealer sucked. So I bought my CPO car last year and have been very happy.

I still think the IS looks better, but the Bimmer drives better and I get AWD with my MT.

between g37s, 370z, b7 S4, shelby gt500 and e46/e90 m3. Liked the 335 more than any except the m3 and decided that saving some money would be better in the long haul. each car def had its advantages. G37 just so many little features, 370z perfect track car, b7 s4 complete sleeper, gt500 raw power, and obviously we know about the m3's, but decided the 335 combined everything i wanted into 1 package. could not be any happier with my choice
