Why does it make that noise

Well ive always noticed this, lets say after you driven your car and you let it rest for a couple hours, and when you come back to drive it and when you first take off from 1st gear into 2nd gear the car makes the sexiest sound, and it only makes it once? Does anyone els know what im talking about? i want my car to continue to sound like that.

I think i know what you are talking about - do u have a 6MT? That note might be something to do with the engine being warm.
