Splitting headlights
Ive got the poverty spec halogen headlights and want to upgrade them, im not really interested in xenons just the angel eyes, im considering splitting my current lamps and wiring in a set of rings to the sidelights. Has anyone done this on and e9x or previous bm, any advice would be gratefully recieved.

Maybe its best to go for some complete aftermarket units then, does anyone know if the ones on this page are any good:
http://www.mstyle.co.uk/acatalog/Headlamp_Upgrades.html ive seen them for less than 380 too. |

I didnt know there was a complete 'Angel Eye' headlight available.
Its a nice idea, but £380 is a fair bit and if they turn out to be crap fit or quality, or MOT failure (one of which seems likely to me, as a pessimist) then its a lot of money... Matt |

They are E marked apparently, and are available cheaper elsewhere around 200 is the best ive seen, made by ultra i believe..............But, Im sure it could be done cheaper just by fitting a set of the SSDD rings to the existing headlights and wiring into the side lights but is this likely to cause a warning light on the dash?
