What am I doing wrong?
When I want to load music from a USB stick to the cars hard drive, every time I insert the stick it gives it a new title EG USB 1-2-3 and so on, is there a way to add to an existing collection/folder?

In the glove box socket? not the armrest one?
You should be able to just copy from the stick into your 'collection'. That's how I did it, but it was so slow i gave up after 2gig wasn't copied in 1 hour. |

That's what I am doing doughboy, but each time I want to add say another two or three albums, it stores it as another USB stick, instead of letting me add it to and existing one.

I think thats just 'the way it works', mine certainly does the same. Completely half-baked system.
I have a USB stick with it all my music on and I just delete the lot from the HDD and reload everything to get it all in the same folder. It takes a while to do, but I just leave it going in the background whilst listening to the radio or something. That said, I am mostly using an iPod connected in the armrest now as it allows better use of playlists and seems to be quicker skipping through tracks. |
