heads up on e9x...

what up fellas.. just want to share a lil' something with you all, so i got a cousin whos working at bmw down in cali... he just told me yestrday that when you're around 20-30k miles look out for rattles.. he told me its a common issue in my engine as turbo failure.. he also said that they did 5 cars last week and 2 cars just yesterday.. he mentioned something bout wastegate cant last.. here are some pics..

well if you still got the warranty theres nothing to worry about. k shoots!

yeah, the wastegates are giving signs but its hard to get anything done here. cold start(first ~45secs) you can hear them rattle till it warms up and when they first updated to 34.x progman i would induce boost and let off the throttle quickly i'd hear a quick rattle on the way down. of course, when i set up an appointment the noise went away...

now i just have an o2sensor issue thats probably causing the occasional rough idle problem. if they replace it and it happens still, spark plugs are next. no miss fire cells yet, just the o2.
