RMC CCA Fall Drive
Hi folks,
This is the email I got from Jim Bartlett from RMC CCA: The 2009 Fall Drive looks to be another awesome event for our members...we'll be headed south Sept. 12th and 13th (Sat-Sun), and enjoying a fabulous combination of some little-known Colorado backroads with lots of fun for members and their cars. We'll be staying overnight Sat eve at the Waunita Hot Springs Ranch. Registration includes Sat eve dinner and Sun morning breakfast, as well as a hay ride or square dance Sat evening (TBD). Sunday we're heading east to the Great Sand Dunes National Park, where we'll have a tour and lunch. More info is posted on the RMC BMWCCA website. Those seeking to stay overnight should register EARLY as there are limited rooms/beds at the ranch. We're also looking for a few volunteers to help coordinate / execute a few aspects of this year's Fall Drive. If you're interested in helping, contact me ASAP! (jim.bartlett@gmail.com). More info and to register here: http://www.rmcbmwcca.org/ I will be definitely going for at least Saturday and may be able to stay overnight. I will bring donuts and coffee at the Red Rocks Park when we will meet Saturday morning before the drive. However, they are also looking for any volunteers to help out with lunch (shop for fixings, etc.) Please feel free to contact Jim direct at jim.bartlett@gmail.com if you feel like helping out a bit. See you at the Rockies! Jim K. |

At this point I am planning on it. I was bored the other night and made a map of the route for anyone who is interested.
http://www.mapquest.com/mq/4-13_dTZRs Point F is where Saturday drive will end, and Sunday drive will begin. The Route home after 'G' is up to you, I just had it go up 285. |

Didn't end up going. Woke up and weather was crappy, and I stayed up pretty late Friday. Hopefully it was fun for those who went.
