What kind of response would I get from dealer?

Picking up my 325i M sport saloon on Saturday from a non BMW main dealer. Car is on a 55reg.
My Question is:-
If I roll up to my local BMW stealer with my Motor and wander in to the service department, what could I get for free or maybe a small cost? I would like to get the car checked out for latest software and maybe a general look over by the BMW experts.
Also do you think they would be happy to check the service history file etc.

OR would it all be £££££££££ !!!!!!!!

Is the 4 year plus sevicing expensive?

I'd imagine you'd get fook all from a main dealer for free or cheap to be honest unless you find a particularly friendly one.

As your car is a 55 plate, and therefore out of the manufactures warranty, why don't you consider a local BMW specialist as opposed to main dealer. They'll charge you half of what a main dealer would and, get a good one, and you'll probably get a better level of service who'll explain what they are doing and even show you.

Depending where you are in the UK I'm sure someone on here will recommend a good local one.

Cost I dunno, can't see it being that much..

But then expect the 'recommendations' £££££££££££££
