Bluefined E90 BMW
Ok! I finally talked myself into purchasing a bluefin device for my E90 320d 163bhp BMW. After purchasing the device I recieved the product the next day! Within 15 mins I had installed the software on my laptop and downloaded my ECU data from my car, after plugging the device into my PC it took seconds to download to Superchips server, within seconds I had a notification to download the new software, within another 15 mins I had installed the new data into my car which was very simple. I must say I have been a great lover of the BMW diesel engines for years due to the performance and economy and was a little dubious about the device, but after installing the bluefin device I really can't look back, the car no longer feels like a diesel it pulls in every gear without any delay with huge torque and signifcant bhp gain it really feels like a different car and I wonder why these engines aren't running at this setup as norm? In my recomendation if you want your car to feel more responsive and more power without the time going to garages then the this will not dissapoint!! I haven't yet put this on the rolling road but I can't wait to see the gain in bhp and will update you guys soon!!!

It's a bit strange you haven't been on here before to ask advice, especially as you claim.

When forum "marketing" backfires.
I run a PR firm - clients often ask me about using forums to promote their products or services. I always steer them well clear. Unless there is a clear business relationship (like Evolve for example) with the website, don't EVER try and promote something on a website forum - it always ends in tears. |

I didn't read it as promoting a company, the guy has mapped his car and is telling peeps about it - nothing wrong with that IMO.

Omar - first post is shouting about a company, how easy it was to install, how great it is.
If it's not an "advert" then my name's Brenda. |

But most already know Superchips are a reputable company ? The guy is hardly 'promoting' something unknown or dodgy !?!?

I see your point. If you are going to possibly void the warrenty and try something a little out of the ordinary with your pride and joy then you would get some advice first.
Perhaps the OP has been reading the threads about mapping but never posted. Am I too trusting or a cynic..... Should have gone to EVOLVE anyway, MY OPINION |

All good points lads, and fully except being very wary as this was my first post. But being something a petrol head in my day with owning such cars as Saxo VTRs the Superchip was one way to go to turn the little pocket rocket into something that rocketed even more. So my confidence with the product already there but research I did, believe me, with many hours on the web which certainly wound my missess up some what. The other seller to me was my work colleague had a 123d and installed the device 3 months prior to my purchase and watching that thing pull away from me with ease certainly twitched my wallet. But again this is no advert to the product, this is something I believe has changed my diesel into something so more enjoyable and is only a comment for you guys to read or not to read.........believe or don't believe this 320d now keeps up with alpina 320d which all I wanted. Thanks for listening
