Swapping interior from a convertible to coupe

hey guys,

i have found a full interior in the exact colour that i want, but it is from a convertible and i own a coupe so my question is, has anyone ever done this swap?

if not then as i understand the only difference is the seatbelt which in the convi is based on the headrest. to solve this problem i can just buy 2 new headrests from bmw or just get my ones re-trimmed...can anyone confirm that this is the only difference?

thanks

Its not in just the headrest...its the while plastic bit at the top thats diferent...Dont think it would work...maybe just the bottom part?

I would doubt the rear seats are the same, the vert's rear backrest folds down to give a luggage platform, I don't think the coupe is the same.

The vert has smaller rear seats and door cards.

Also the front seats will not work due to headrest/seatbelt mount issues.

do you guys know whether the interior from M3 e92 is a direct fit onto a e92 320 coup?

also, my current seats are semi auto without the memory function, so if my new seats have the memory function will they work without getting the system re-programmed at the stealers?
