New 320d Rear Silencer

Hi Guys

We have just signed up as an approved Forum sponsor so now we really would value your opinion...

This is our newly developed rear silencer section which fits all E9x 318d and 320d (163hp and 177hp)..It is completely T304 Stainless Steel and fits as a direct replacement with both M Sport rear valence and standard...

...all comments and any questions welcome

We sell it as a package with a high flow air filter at £299...On a car that already had our software installed it gave an additional 8hp...With a bit of work we have also been able to get it produce a 'sports' note too, but it is still pretty subdued...you can just about hear the difference inside the car too!

oh cool, how much does it cost to get the software installed? does the car get any power increase without the software install?

The DPI software upgrade is £499 and the two combined give in the region of 215hp (assuming your car is 177hp standard)...When you purchase the two together the exhaust is fitted free of charge...

Exhaust and filter on a standard car should still give 6-7hp...

The only other shape imo that would suit the DPF equipped 330D is an oval. Big single would shout boy racer!

Don't you think there would be a reluctance to replace a OE twin with a single?

Apart from an oval, what other options are there? I wouldn't want bigger twins, they would look stupidly oversized.

PM sent.

You can listen to it on the 335i using the link on our website www.mvsport-tuning.com

Unfortunately the sound it quite a bit more subdued on the 335d!

Well most are pretty much straight through, but it is still possible to tune the sound with some careful work!
